Why “nope”?
“Just Say No” was the 80s answer to drugs. It was catchy, and it didn't work: a slogan can't treat a disease. We kept the word and sent the money to the part that does work, science-based treatment and recovery. Say nope, then fund the cure.
Is $NOPE a charity?
No. It is a memecoin, and memecoins are speculative. What makes it different is where the creator fees go: all of them are donated, publicly, to a real nonprofit.
Who decides when to donate?
The rule does. Every time the fund wallet reaches 1 SOL, it is donated. The wallet is public, so if a donation is late, everyone can see it.
Why The Giving Block and not a direct transfer?
It is the crypto donation processor Shatterproof uses on its own website. Each donation produces a receipt, which we publish next to the transaction.
